Except it has a flexible flyer frame (no perimeter parts, all tubing old style). I saw the episode when they had it on the lift bench with just the wheels, forks, swingarm, shock and engine.
So all that money they spend on Ohlins stuff etc. is wasted because the first time you roll the throttle on coming off an apex that frame will flex and she'll run off line.
They are too stupid to understand how rigid a frame has to be and what it takes to build one (they don't have the equipment to do it, by the way) for a sportbike.
Like everything they do it is just eye-candy.

Wow in the Revenge build off, Jesse used a Ducati-style tube frame and built a real V-Rod killer, and the people hated it.
Just like they hated Senior's sportbike-style entry. Although OCC still doesn't get it, water jetting a tall aluminum backbone out of thick aircraft aluminum is still not going to produce a stiff enough frame to make it a real sportbike.

Hmmm...It's not REALLY a 'ground up' build now is it?They used a couple of other mfg's deals to get it together. So much for 'American Sportbike'....Erik...where are you when we NEED you!Isn't that a mock Yamaha fairing there?

Since it was a "chopper build off" it didn't surprise me. Not impressed with any of them. Jesse came close though.

Yes, I liked Jesse's bike. I like most of what he builds. Man has mad skillz and nobody makes so much of their bikes foundry style (cut the metal, heat the metal, pound on the metal and voila - a one-off part) as Jesse.
